Every act of generosity helps create moments where people encounter Jesus, grow in intimacy with God, and carry His love into their homes, communities, and the nations.
Why We Give
-
Giving Is an Act of Worship
Giving is one of the highest expressions of worship. When we give, we acknowledge that everything we have belongs to God and we joyfully return a portion to Him in gratitude.
"Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase."
Proverbs 3:9 -
Giving Advances God's Kingdom
Every gift helps proclaim the Gospel, strengthen believers, and create opportunities for lives to be transformed through worship, prayer, discipleship, and outreach. Your generosity becomes part of God's work in the world.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..."
Matthew 28:19 -
Giving Demonstrates Trust
Generosity is a declaration that our confidence is in God's provision, not in our possessions. As we release what He has entrusted to us, we demonstrate faith in His unfailing care.
"My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19 -
Giving Reflects the Heart of Christ
God's greatest expression of love was giving His Son for our salvation. As followers of Christ, we reflect His generous heart by giving freely, joyfully, and sacrificially.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."
John 3:16 -
Giving Is Sowing Into Eternity
Every seed planted in God's Kingdom bears fruit beyond what we can see. Through your generosity, people encounter Jesus, families are strengthened, prayers are answered, and lives are changed for eternity.
"He which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully."
2 Corinthians 9:6 -
Giving Is Partnership in God's Mission
When you give, you become a partner in the vision God has entrusted to Shiloh. Together, we are creating a place where people encounter Christ through Praise & Worship, Prevailing Prayer, and the Prophetic Word, and grow in moments of intimacy with God.
"Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account."
Philippians 4:17
